In all nations, the typical workplace is one of the least free environments anywhere - hell, even prison and the military have some guarantees of human rights that aren't always granted in the workplace.

It's amazing that people actually accept - and some even endorse - this insanity. Konami may be worse than most, but they're far from the only shitty place out there. In the US, workers de facto give up the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Amendment liberties that constitute the bare minimum of a free society every time they go to work.
