Futuremark has released the first application test via which PC users can measure the performance differences between DirectX 12, DirectX 11 and AMD's Mantle API. 3DMark's API Overhead Feature Test is available now in the latest version of 3DMark Advanced Edition and 3DMark Professional Edition.
