Useless 16:9 aspect ratio. Make it 16:10 and I'll consider.

Aspect ratio isn't that important, pixel count is.
218 PPI is finally beginning to approach a usable density on a desktop monitor. It's been a long hard slog waiting for it, and it's still not quite there, it should get past 300, and then you still need a resolution independent OS that scales text to a good size and high sharpness, but finally the manufacturers are moving us beyond that idiotic HD resolution that we've stagnated on for so long. |

I guess that depends whom do you ask.

just hide the taskbar and you ~get what you would have with 16:10 WITH taskbar. 
also, at that pixel count, screen real-estate is HUGE, you won't miss anything really. You might miss-click things because they are way too small for 5K on 27"  |
