The maker of the Network Addon Mod for SimCity 4 has warned gamers against buying the game from Origin. Turns out that the unpatched version sold on Origin cannot be updated because of changes to its copy protection. PC Gamer has the story.

Admittedly I don't buy anything other than crap BF and then grab whatever is free. If it ain't on Steam, F it.
