You really have to visit China and stay a few weeks in the smaller cities - away from the big ones - to understand how the country works.
A few rich families enforce the so-called democracy, but they can do this only until they can keep the people in the dark (i.e. away from general knowledge and "the rest of the world"). Anything that might threaten this delicate status is deemed wrong and must disappear (including people).
Sad, but it seems they can get away with this because "the people" don't know better.

Another way to look at it is how many games are there where America or Europe are the bad guys? Not just one bad guy who's from there, but the entire country/continent being the aggressor!

True, but the Russians did not ban games when they were the bad guys... And there were plenty of those!
Americans can't sell a game without having a real-world-like villain.

I think they just banned it because the game sucks so bad. It also wasn't made by Blizzard.

BF is a joke just like COD. How many times does an idiot buy the same crappy game time and time again? Once they fix it to what it should have been at release, they got a "new" game coming to start the money making process all over again.

And I don't mind if they make Canada the bad guy. Our HQ will be a giant igloo with a Tim Horton's coffee cup on it along-side a bobble-head of Prime Minister Harper holding a Canadian flag.
