This game actually looks like cack but I'm starving for an RPG I haven't played and Path of Exile is boring now 120+ hours later. Hell I even started updating D3. |

I installed Neverwinter four weeks ago, fully expecting to play thirty minutes, hate it, and uninstall in a cloud of curmudgeonly grumbling. Surprise! It's still installed and I play it daily.
It's... well, it's fun. By that I mean the combat is actually interactive and entertaining, not just macro-spamming and number crunching. Crafting and enchanting are both entertaining meta-games. The scenery is gorgeous. Cryptic have done something different here. This isn't a re-skin of Champions or STO; this is its own game. I even got three old EQ buddies playing it and we're having a blast going through dungeons.
Give it a spin. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. |
