That was you that said that, not me.
Put simply; It's a sale isn't it. Why you trying to extract hate out of a Game that is 90% off??
I positively hate STEAM, DRM and every fucking thing digital and downloadable! I buy CDs, Physical games, Blu Ray films etc.
But when you compare a physical copy of Alan Wake at £30 on PC or £3.30 on digital, you've got to be completely stupid to at least draw the line under some titles.... seeing as you need fucking STEAM for a helluva lot of games to activate -and no, i'm not into pirating. If i don't want something i DON'T want something and hurt them in the wallet.
So does that explain to you your hell bent way of starting a misplaced argument. I'm championing the game, Alan Wake at £3.30 NOT STEAM....sigh
Every sodding thing needs internet to activate, whether it's called STEAM or UBI,Origin or whatever. They are all one and the same, except STEAM tends to be obviously cheaper when it has sales on.
Man, you got a serious chip..... |

Excellent comparison? 1 game for £3.30 and a pack of seriously ancient titles for $121, you could pick up the bundle for half the price on eBay! . Brilliant... Talking out your arse Tom, as usual.
Seeing as I never played the shitty Eggbox version, you have since you seem versed enough to compare the PC version? (which you havent clearly played) The comparison is slightly dulled your senses, the changes over the Eggbox is immense,(just read the version differences and improvements) and since I'm playing it, it would be very hard to think this came out the Eggbox's arse! The PC is a gorgeous game and- remember it's a psychological horror, not some shoot 'em up or TressFx, physx next gen wonder. It's about a story played out for thinking players, clearly lost on you Tom. And to clearly voice your bases on a game that is only £3.30 is quite honestly...... Bloody showing you as a sad git. |

| I played it a long time ago ya dip shit. Steam version. It ain't worth even that cheap price. It's a piece of shit console port with stupid controls and fucking boring gameplay. And I'm not the one going around recommending shit games like Alan Wake or that shit Farcry 3. I guess what do you expect from a guy who mostly plays console games on a shitty ps3. |

Your a total plank! How can playing it on STEAM, equate to a wondrous deduction, its a console port? Of course it's a console port you fooking knob! Anybody knows that since it was an Eggbox exclusive!! FFS, you thick or what.....
Stupid controls... Mouse, a,s,w,d. Q,e and 1,2 etc. same as ANY PC game out there! You know what Tom, your a class A idiot. Your fingers type shit before your brain even engages. You've not played it, you read about it and then follow the sheep mentality and assume its shit because you read it.
All of a sudden you know everything about me, now. Simple minds easily amused or what. Your a sad case.
I'm mature enough to play, what the fuck I want, on what I want. Without justifying it with anyone since its my choice, you imbecile.
3ds Xl, ps3, psp, kick your arse PC, nexus 7, asus tf300t. All my choice, so what's it got to do with you? Your the fucking idiot parent that lets their child play Far Cry 3 - an 18 certificate and thinks that it is ok boasts about it on here, then blames me because I made you go out and buy it...... no. YOU made the, supposed, adult choice and bought it, then let your kid play it....man are you fucked up!
Seriously, have a long look at yourself Tom. Your in NO position to throw muck about.
Oh look I enjoy gaming on multi-formats, I must be the only one in the world eh? Your kind of vitriol is akin to what is on social networks, immature, pathetic and more of what this generation is brought up on. You hide behind a keyboard and look stupid and are not in a million years aged over 40 year old- that you claim...... it still highlights you as not very intelligent regardless we don't see you? The very fact is you just continually type garbage, never string anything constructive, never voice a difference other than 'I'm better than anyone here'. Sorry, your not and never will be. We all have differences in games and formats and opinions, but you....
Be angry about a game, explain why - constructively, but why do you persist in attacking posts/posters? Are you so inadequate in life? You must gain a platform on a thread on a 1 in a billion website/forum that isn't exactly Facebook. That's how sad you look here. |

Btw, I save my true vitriol for Apple,M$. Not people(generally, though there are exceptions), but just pure despotism.
Never have they done anything good for gaming or mobile phones in general.
Pure out and out greed. People follow them like Stockholm syndrome. Can't see anything bad about them. Then rapidly forget when GTA 4 doesn't come out on PC cause M$ buy exclusive rights to their Eggbox first... Incredible. You go on about buying an Eggbox, perfect example. If Sony et al stopped making gaming machines, I wouldn't buy an Eggbox if it was the last thing out there! Sure gives you a cosy feeling knowing its costing you $120 a year just to have Live! And other monies for many of its hidden subscriptions, then of course the ful price for secondhand game activation and no hard drive change or backup (cloud only)
I call that, cutting your nose off to spite your face. |
