Cheating after you\'ve been warned is stupid. Getting your account banned so you can\'t play a game you paid money for is funny as hell! Wink user license agreement, that player can be permanently banned from the game. This means that the player will be permanently unable to log in to Battle.net to play Diablo III w

Online cheaters should be banned, yeah, but damnit -- this game shouldn't be online-only! I *HATE* playing online.
I enjoyed using trainers to do stupid crap in Diablo II. A bow that fires exploding cows? Oh, hell yes! Jewel-encrusted Wirt's leg of maiming? I'm'a beat me some enemies with it!
It wasn't cheating -- it was eking out extra play value for amusement.

Having to pay $60 for a game should entitle you do do what you want with it in a single-player setting. Now, if it were, say, WoW-like where there was a subscription and you are always playing with others, then yeah. Blizzard should show up at their house and ...fire exploding cows at them.

I don't mind the online myself if it buys me action on kicking/banning cheaters. I agree it would be sort of nice to have an offline but I don't think it is possible because of the Auction House etc. They need to ascertain more effectively what you pick up and later sell. As it is I wonder how the F people have gotten things in the first place.

I shakeyfist at the auction house.
Seriously, an item that exists in everyone's game, potentially dropped by an enemy *IF* you grind hard enough.
Is that really incentive to play more? If you go and *BUY* that item from someone to skip the grinding, isn't that a form of 'cheating' in itself?
I understand they want to generate constant revenue from the game -- that's wholly understandable -- but really, BlizzBay *IS* a form of cheating. If you're willing to pay for an item you can't attain through play, you're getting an unfair advantage.

Bamf.

Pretty much could be considered cheating. I am playing Hell difficulty (why?) and I'm already half way through and still I have found jack all, even more interesting is that I have defeated bosses and semi-bosses and still have nothing of worth yet Auction house has lots of stuff. You think I'd have at least "1" thing of worth but sadly... no.

When is Torchlight II coming to save me from this Diablo joke of a game?

But.... but... It was online only to prevent hacking and cheating! That was the Official Excuse, anyhow.

FAIL.
