Looks like Notch is adding Dragons to the ever-addicting Minecraft.

Now we’re talking. An hour ago, Notch tweeted that he was developing epicness in Minecraft. The tweet got his followers pretty damn excited, so they pestered the Minecraft creator for more info. Notch, lovely as he is, obliged.

The dragon represents the overall state of Minecraft... an unfinished joke.

A lot of the good mods actually make me want to play the game, where as these pre releases actually put me off Minecraft, because then you end up playing minecraft without any of the mods and it shows just how little Mojang have done to improve the actual game.

They added crap villages in 1.8, in 1.9 they add NPC villagers that not only look shit, have the AI intelligence of a minecraft sheep. Notch must have some kind of attention deficit disorder, he just can't stick to finishing anything before moving onto the next 'kool' thing he can twit about to his mindless followers.

It's so incredibly unfinished as a standalone game right now, that I can't see them not having a longer beta period.
