HX, if you buy a X800 Pro, i run the risk of being gay-bashed. Don't do it man!
Even a 6800 standard will keep you horny whil gaming. |

hahaha, don't know what paperwork you are talking about. If it's assessing your companies purchases then I sincerely doubt they will go, oh look he has a 6800GT, lets arrest him. But if I were to choose today, it would be hard. The reason I wouldn't choose ATI is simply driver support. ATI 'does' have a lot of issues with games. An ATI fanboy wont tell you that or sugar coat it. I have both ATI and nVidia at home. nVidia needs next to no care and performs well. My ATI card on the otherhand continues to have issues unresolved since 4 driver versions and the problem don't even appear in the 'known issues'. If that's the support you want, get ATI. If you want less hassles, get nVidia. Look at HL2, ATI was supposed to stomp nVidia, did they? No. So even for a game not specifically designed to suit nVidia continues to perform better on nVidia.. of course it depends on who's benchmark you believe. lol.
Why don't you ask for an ATI and nVidia for a card and do a review and benchmark of your own and then make a choice? You are a review site. |

I would like to see benchmarks showing Nvidia with the fastest card on the market right now.
They don't have it. They might with the next GPU they have under development, but at the moment it's ATI. |

Right now, the fastest single PCI-Express slot using card is GeF 7950GTX2.
Sure, you can run X1900 & X1900XTX in crossfire and get better results, but this isnt a single card based test and also the price is much heavier on ATI-s X1900 case;)
use google for benchmarks
And 'ello to everybody. Greetings from Estonia |
