Electronic Arts has delayed the release of Darkspore a month, the publisher announced. The game will now release on April 26 in North America and April 28 in Europe and Asia Pacific territories:

The lack of hype surrounding Darkspore leads me to believe they aren't as overly confident about the game as they were with Spore this time around.

Maybe they've learnt something, nah its got EA involved, forget I said that Razz

I played some of the beta and found it quite interesting really. It's a strange mix of a game. I think I will go for it.

April is fine. Too many games are coming out anyway.

I would have preferred a space exploration type of spore game, the spore game itself was rather a letdown.

pre-space stages pretty much gave you different ways of winning, but the moment you get into space stage you are forced to do trading to make any form of money and thats when spore died to me.

Darkspore however it was ok i guess, but it got old very quickly, but atleast this game entices you to play on a higher difficulty, unlike other games that just make it more harder with no return for the effort.
