Guess they felt DX10.1 or even DX11 wasn't a requirement. Ah well.. its all about the gameplay, right? In the end, eye-candy doesn't make a classic game, but good gameplay will make you a legend.

What's an Athlon X2 and a Core 2 Duo have anything to do on the same minimum specs? They are processors of totally different caliber.

A bit disappointed by the specs really. I expected them to be higher.

Still not all hope is lost. From the videos I've seen, the graphs are quite cool.

disappointed the specs aren't higher? Rolling Eyes

...as if minimum spec requirements are an indication of maximum game engine fx capabilities and gameplay.

"What a shame they will support DX9."

Ahahahahaha

Yeah you have a point laughing I guess. Devs tend not to be very honest as far as specs are concerned. They want people to go to the store and then get back home and find that the game is unplayable.

I mean look at Crysis 1 specs for Christ's sake.

The game just became playable with the correct settings it was meant to, ie 1920X1080+4XAA Very High, on two 570s and a Core i7@4Ghz.

Lol,, they will continue to make games on DX9 because only of the fakin consoles! This is the only thing that is keeping the games from progressing really!
Games are dumbed down in gameplay and graphics because of consoles!
Consoles have a certain limitations on polycounts, texturemaps, normal maps etc... plus, they dont support fx stuff that is supported on the PC.
So, its cheaper to make the game and then port it here and there.... than making a game fully optimized for PC, then down grade it to fit console requirements..... plus, not to mention PSP and cellphones and stuff... it gets really expensive, and we all want the games to keep their prices under 50$ right ?
