Stardock CEO Brad Wardell has confirmed
the layoffs in a forum post, attributing the cuts to
Elemental: War of Magi\'s updated revenue projections following its
launch.
It is true.
Elemental\'s revenue was anticipated to provide the revenue both for our
main games team\'s next project as well as a second team

| well, if those people told you that elemental is a crap game during development and you forced the project to continue - you should fire your selves and put those who told you the game sucks in your place, not fire them. Game sucks ass big time. I mean, besides being a bug fest. |

SoSE is a great game.
My violin weeps for those laid off. Such is life.. It's how businesses work. They use you and spit you out. The more definitive action would have been to fire the management that lead this Elemental project. But businesses don't work that way. I wish I had a news article for me when I got laid off time and time again. You know, this kinda news. I really don't give a shit about. It's boo hoo hoo. |
