well I don't see the difference. Downed player is not a dead player, defeated player is. It was like that in original GW, they just added the unnecessary downed mode witch will pretty much mean that you are already dead, it will just add to the frustration.

point is: if you do things the right way, pick the right fights etc you wont ever be downed, if you pick the wrong fights or play like headless chicken, downed means you are dead anyway...
