ATI Catalyst Product manager, Terry Makedon tweeted they have released a 10.5a hotfix for non 5 series
cards, which fixes the long BFBC2 load times.

Catalyst 10.5 Hotfix is out. It is Cat 10.5 plus the long load time fix
for BF:BC2 for HD 2xxx,3xxx,4xxx products
