1 x Asus HD 5870 average approx price £320 (£960 approx for 3)
1 x Asus GTX 480 average approx price £470 (£1410 approx for 3)

Anyone that buys two let alone three of these cards that will be obsolete before you get them installed for that sort of money are fucking morons.

It's not even a question of having the disposable income to support an expensive hobby, it's just utterly asinine.

Similar to this recent 3D bollocks, they pull out these fucking stupid glasses every 10 years or so, milk the rubes who all find out sod all is supported at launch nor 12 months on and the now have a spare pair of sunglasses that look like they were supplied on the NHS circa 1947.

I think that anyone with the money to buy not two, but 3 o 4 high-end GPU really likes to waste money and they actually have a lot. This kind of people sell their hardware as soon as something newer comes out and they doesnt care about the waste of money.

Simply MONEY for BRAINS.. what a waste. I barely can justify to anyone 2xGPU solutions because they just can't be cost-validated especially when new revisions come within 6-8months. And the heat buildup/power consumption? Gawd damn!!!! Where is the Al Gore SAS enviro-shock troopers around to erase your arse from civilization for such opulence!?!
