It's for PC, the forums tell you that.
Can't wait, Mechwarrior was my fav up until it was ruined by Heavy Gear. Never bought nor owned Mech4, so it will be a nice surprise.

Mechwarrior 3 was the best one. Not the one I liked more. The best one.

Incidentally was the one I liked more too.

Mech 3 gave you the idea of walking inside a mech, Mech 4 was raped by MS and was like piloting little toy robots.

I would like to know if the new Mechwarrior by Piranha games will ever see the light.

They "leaked" the movies almost 1 year ago and then ... the silence.

BTW. I liked Heavy Gear. It was not a Mechwarrior game. It was Heavy Gear.

Thanks Stumpus, I didn't have the time to read forums. Yeah, Mechwarrior was a fun game. Be cool to play it again.

I couldn't remember if Heavy Gear was part of the Mech universe? All i remember was it was done by Activision and so was Mechwarrior up to -if i remember- Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries?? Correct me if i'm wrong.
Anyway, I loved Mech2 Mercs cause you could use salvage from downed mercs. That made it sooo much better to not totaly Destroy an enemy and instead for eg shoot it's legs off! lol
When i bought my 2mb Matrox Mystique it shipped with enhanced versions of Mechwarrior and Scorched planet. Two very highly detailed games at the time Cool

@Stumpus

Yes, Mechwarrior and Mechwarrior 2 (with its follow up/expansions Ghost Bear's legacy and Mercenaries) were published by Activision.

Mercenaries was a lot of fun even if with massive pathfinding problems.

MW3 was published by Microprose and was the best IMO. The salvage system was present in this one too plus on-field repairs.

MW4 with its many expansions was published by MS.

Heavy Gear was based on en entirely different universe. And the "Heavy Gears" were a lot less "Heavy" than a mech.

Ah yes Ghost Bears expansion, enjoyed that with -again if i remember- bizarre zebra type cammo?
Yes kudos tp you V-ampire, you know your stuff. Incidently what age are you? You are obviously passionate about Mechwarrior etc. I played it a few times on Kali.
I thought i had Mechwarrior 3?? can't find that yet in the depths of my 450-500 PC games chest! lol. Forgot about the stupid path-finding probs, what game doesn't suffer from it??? Rainbow six had to be one of the absolute worst. but that's going off on a tangent. Cool
