What I find offensive about that isn't that they want people to pay for the OS (even at the obscene prices they want for the Ultimate version, but that is another rant), it is the absolute bullcrap they spew as a reason for it.

I think it is pretty obvious that the vast majority of people who have an activation hack have it because they themselves put it there in order to bypass activation.

I can just see people lining up around the corner to download and install this "important update".

LMAO, seriously? Sense it does not make.

Microsuck are so obvious in what they do, release winshi7e beta, get idiots using OS make them feel like they are contributing and that there voices are heard, after the vista fuck up, meanwhile they do fuck all in actually doing anything about improving anything from professional feedback. Other than the lame as shit they already planned to do for the noobs, and marketing teams to sell that shit with like AeroSnap crap that can already be gotten on XP and useless unproductive explorer shell designed by fucking retards and pathetically useless taskbar shit that looks flashy but is overall rubbish, when free shell extensions Taskix do a far better job of improving workflow experience of such areas.

They know full well pirating and hardware enthusiast dumb asses are more likely to spend money on PC hardware than on legit OS software especially an OS that doesn't have any improvement over an 8+year old XP, just cosmetic shit changes and really poorly developed shit features. Fanboys can be such a huge influence on markets, so long extending trial periods and soft protections schemes will do for release, let them do the job of using the OS and preaching bullshit about it for some months, because its the least they could do for not buying that shit7e, get the rest of clueless idiots actually going out and buying it, (feel sorry for the poor buggers lobbed with that junk OS in new pc/laptops sales), and then hit the rest of them with some much more inforced malware 'protection'. In the end those too lazy to just remove that scrap will buy the rip off lack luster Win7 vis7a shi7e for convenience.

I think this basically puts an end to anyone running a software crack for windows 7 for the time being (unless they stop updating).

The question on everyones lips is will this disable the previously unbeatable OEM bios hack that many have been using since Vista came out?

There is already malware being created that will make some small nifty changes that will not have any side effects except that your LEGAL system that will make MicroClutch tag your boobybox into a non-genuine blackpapered piece of pirateware, don't blame the malware writers, they did nothing bad to your system, it was the Vole !
