| Xbox 360 is nowhere near the value of a PS3. If Xbox 360 is lowered in price(should be like 200) then I'm sure Sony would have no choice to lower theirs. That would mean that Sony would have to lower prices on Bluray overall though. Being how there is nothing to compete with Bluray, why should they? It's not like they aren't selling bluray outside of PS3. IMHO your money is better spent on a PS3. Bluray is an awesome thing to have and Xbox360 doesn't have that. As far as Activision and other publishers, they are just money hungry bastards that are just looking to upgrade their profits on the backs of others. Games today are so bloody repetitious and unimaginative it screams to me of a reason they don't sell enough. Looking at E3 I shake my head to see this repetitious crap. PC looks very bleak to me and most of these games we have to wait until November... Gimme a break. |

They must be joking.
Ok, so $400 for a PS3 stings, but buying just a few games for it will match that outlay, and then you're just expected to pour money into the game makers coffers.
It's preposterous. The PS3 has some cool hardware to it, it has a built-in Blu-ray player etc and is most likely already selling at a loss still; it is definitely not overpriced.
The biggest cost involved with console gaming isn't the consoles, it is the nausea-inducing prices for console games. A PS3 game will set you back $60 or more, so if Activision wants more console sales, how about they lower the game cost to $20? That would do a heck of a lot more to sell consoles than lowering a PS3 by another $50!
Hypocritical b-stards. |

The PS3 is lost on the majority of (kiddie) gamers out there. As has been said, it's the BEST near high entry blue ray player on the market -never mind the fact that it's a console with the BEST sound either. A lot of adults buy the PS3 and use it for browsing and playing blue ray films inbetween gaimg.
The XBox *is* nothing but a cheap console with cheap parts -hence it's rediculous LOW price. I've said this before, but the Nintendo DSI and Wii are MORE expensive than it -yet they sell MILLIONS MORE than an Xbox!
Download HD films to your XBox, why?? If you want to view QUALITY HD films you buy a dedicated player and view them straight off the disc that they came on, not off a mickey mouse console
I have HD broadcast via cable, but it's NOTHING compaired to GENUINE ,in the raw, viewing of a blu ray film. PERIOD |
