announcing the expected announcement of Thief 4,
though they are not supplying many details about the next installment

lets hope they don't screw it up and consolize it into some noobshit game i wouldn't want to play on the Pc anyway.
other than that I'm fully looking forward to an update on Theif.. |

Hell, I'd be happy if they pulled a Riddick and just remade Thief: The Dark Project with a few extra missions thrown in (and functional mod tools of course).
Hearing someone talking about innovation makes me more wary than optimistic...that could go either way.
One thing different from this game and Thief 3 though, there is NO excuse for them to make small crappy levels/maps. If the 360 & PS3 can handle Fallout 3 then they have no excuse for making cramped small levels in Thief 4.
Thief 2 is the one game that's been on every PC I've had since it came out. Hopefully this game will be as good and have mod tools good enough for the Thief community to run with. |
