| Hmm, it may be kind of oriented for kids but there is a lot of adult oriented software for DS. I play mine occasionally. I'm no kid. LOL! I also have a PSP. I'd like to get the internet browser for the DS, man that would make it quite powerful. |

Well,i just shows you how far off the ball Sony can be.
The DS(i) is massively promoted for adults (you've seen the ads?) I myself have a DS, i'm in my 40's, the wife has just bought the DSI (traded in her DS) the Wi Fi is very good, the browser takes a bit of getting used to, although GameGuru RSS feeds are brilliant on it
Both of us play GTA: Chinatown (each) and we have a shed load of games each. I also own a PS3 BUT i don't own a PSP. Why? Well, what i can buy on PS3 i don't want to own on a PSP. Whereas, on the DS it WONT be on another format -which is why it's unique, that and it's excellent battery life.
Edit:
The DSI plays GTA smoother than my DS and the larger screen is a bonus. |

| The DSi looks good but we've only had the DS for just over a year. I think I am more to look into getting the browser added on before I have to get rid of my DS. It was the biggest upset I had with the DS that they were not selling the browser. The DS with a browser would be deadly. Wife only got PSP for games she doesn't play on PS3 and PC. The PSP also has a pretty decent browser which makes up for the lack of browser on my DS. I use my Blackberry to cruise the net when I need it. You mentioned the DSi has excellent WiFi, which is true, it's amazing how far I can go and still reach my secure WiFi network. |
