well, my labtop is bad ass, after being a desktop gamer for so long, i cringed at the thought of labtop gaming,
but then i got the aspire 8930g from bestbuy, and let me tell you that ths is a great gaming machine.
i never had overheating issues, and this display is big for labtops. 18.5 baby, |

Well it works both ways, by the time you fork out for a mobo,RAM,CPU etc in a full tower you've bought a new laptop, So a laptop is perfect for everyday use -which is what they are used for, generaly.
I have a DELL inspiron 1525
As for gaming, well that's why i left the overpriced bloat that is Windoze and bought a console. Boots in about 10secs Virus scanners, firewalls nah, don't need that bloat either just instant gaming and online MP for free  |

| I'd rather game on a console than a laptop myself. My PS3 is great for gaming online, don't have to worry about cheaters, viruses and firewalls like Stumpus said. To me a laptop is more for general purpose things. |
