what a bunch of tools
I can just see the actual sales soaring high with this mind blowing genious idea.. which sounds almost as shit as having to start up the steaming pile of shit platform (aka STEAM) in order to play a game.

So i guess the pirate community will make a patch that removes this or makes it think its done.
There will prob be a way to trick the game to think its validated.
A diffrent way would be to wait untill you get a error msg saying that the game cant validate and apply a reg key so it think it has bean validated.
There is probebly a bunch of ways to fix this.
Not evry one has internet connection, so now thay cant play games?
For me this is not a problem as im not going to get Mass Effect and im going to pay for SPOR.
But all you pirates aout there dont worry, thay will crack this... thay always do.
And this time its going to be a race, what gruop will be the first.
Fame and glory, big motivation of mankind. |

the validation doesnt really bug me a whole lot.
If just they'd get rid of bloody securom and other invasive protection scemes they can validate how often they like for me. |

Of course software has always weak points, so somebody will make the effort to crack this, like hl2 with steam was cracked.
But there is no simple answer to this problem. A legal gamer will hate all this senseless copy protection maleware, a pirate doesn't, the industrie have to learn that. They should work more on bugfree games than making players sad with all these nag screens.
Does anybody know how cheap a game is, if there is no expensive copy protection on the disc? |
