It would seem there is an issue with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of GTA IV locking up during/following the game\'s first cutscene. Reports are supposedly coming in from all over that the problem is bad enough to cause your system to hard lock, requiring users to unplug their systems completely to reset. A

The freeze problem is indeed widespread, but fixable according to here: http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26368244

Not 'entirely' sure what the official word is on the subject.

The game is freaking ace though Smile

btw hx, it's actually 640p that the PS3 version runs at.
