GTA IV Locking Up? - console

It would seem there is an issue with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of GTA IV locking up during/following the game's first cutscene. Reports are supposedly coming in from all over that the problem is bad enough to cause your system to hard lock, requiring users to unplug their systems completely to reset. Any of you experiencing problems?

Update:While Xbox 360 owners are enjoying 720P GTA IV gaming goodness, it seems that the PS3 folks are only getting 630P. What does that mean? Did Rockstar invent a new HD resolution? ;-)

The freeze problem is indeed widespread, but fixable according to here: http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26368244

Not 'entirely' sure what the official word is on the subject.

The game is freaking ace though :)

btw hx, it's actually 640p that the PS3 version runs at.
