GSC Game World and Koch Media have announced
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, the prequel to the irradiated first-person shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, will hit the store shelves on August 29, 2008, and will be published by the games labels Deep Silver and GSC World Publishing.

It probably won't challenge Crysis in the graphics department, but you guys just have to see how great the volumetric smoke looks in Clear Sky. There's a cam video of dx10 fly through two levels: an outdoor and an indoor one:

It's from an expo in Kiev. The PR-man talking is Oleg Yavorsky and he mentioned that Nvidia used their demo to show off its 9800 card at GDC and CeBit this year. |
