I am a student and I need a laptop for researches, entertainment and gaming. I am really confused between getting a laptop or a tablet and not sure what to put my money on. I have been saving money for a very long time and I must take this decision very carefully because I worked hard to collect some cash due to the low value of EPG compared to the American dollars.

I guess the original post of 23 Oct is a bit old, I'll chime in for a discussion.
Usually, there are many options and many manufacturers of laptops, tablets, and pads. Its hard to sort out what is a good deal, what suits your needs, and how well your device will work in the future.
I use Toms Hardware as source of info to determine the best ratio of price versus performance http://www.tomshardware.com/ . I pay attention to the CPU and GPU performance charts as gaming is my main forte.
Then i check the deals on the bigger sites like NCIX, Tigerdirect, Bestbuy, Newegg, etc, and using my budget allocation, try to get the best deal/performance for the sale price. |
