NVRAM is a requirement for higher resolutions.
It should not be a selling point.
However, it is expected that cards with weaker GPUs won't be able to render higher resolutions effectively, so adding a lot of NVRAM is a moot point.
On high-end cards it's a must, not really a selling point.
