I’ve used Siri in the car while driving to send (spoken) texts or phone someone. It’s been faultless and so incredibly natural like I’m actually speaking to someone in the car -tone of voice. I’m in the U.K. Scotland to be precise, so my accent is a nightmare for smart speakers. Alexa is a hit or miss, again my accent. Scotland has one of the most diverse accents spread across it. My wife is from Doncaster, England and it took her a long time to understand me -going on 33 years and I still catch her out occasionally.

Alexa is always putting ‘her’ nose into conversations, which is why it’s in the dining area and not in living room or bedrooms! (Never!!)
