Why do people use games to benchmark CPUs?
They are the least relevant component these days.

That's a % of what? Lame ass minimum and recommended CPUs?
Besides, 90-100% is not really CPU intensive, lol
Sure, it uses more resources than usual, but I would not call it a benchmark.
A CPU benchmark shall always test any CPU to its limits irrespective of what other components (such as the GPU) can crunch out.
So, at least 101% load on any CPU is required, ideally, without any load on the GPU.
That's what a CPU benchmark is.
What you reference are merely tests and cannot be used as a CPU performance benchmarks in any way.
You can trick schtoopid kids with it though - will work every time!
