When Microsoft first announced general availability of its new Chromium-based Edge browser, it said that those on Windows 7 and 8.1 would have to install the browser manually if they wanted it. | Edge is a better browser. I'm nearly full switched over. I find Edge is faster than Chrome. He talks about fps drops, I only see Chrome taking big hits somtimes even hitting 4fps. Don't know how he sees better contrast on Chrome as I don't see it. |

| I find it a lot faster and less memory usage. Also don't get these annoying screen flashes that seem to go away when Chrome is closed. When I used Edge I don't have this issue. |
