Techland has just released Dying Light 2 on PC and even though the game looks great with Ray Tracing, it became obvious that it has been downgraded from its original vision. When since do they not downgrade….
Ever looked at adverts for burgers, crisps etc. the prop used is fecking huge. Then you buy it and it’s….well, a con.

| Backers would love it even if it looked like minecraft. Never underestimate the backers and the amount of manure they like to consume. RSI has fed them a direct line from Burj Khalifa and they continue to consume and give Robert more money. |

The style was absolutely spot on with the E3 demo.
The release is a rooftop jungle, trying too hard to borrow the overbearing saturated look from Far Cry New Dawn. |

That reminds me of the new KFC range, like their Lay's chips. With the slogan "Lay's chips with our secret recipe flavour - a must-have!" You taste them and they taste like regular chips  |

De-saturated* It's already saturated to hell and back.
But yeah, Reshade is a god send and I literally never play any games without it.
If you use MultiLUT/FilmGrain2/AmbientLight/qUINT_sharp and qUINT_regrade for fine control, you can mimic the same look and feel from any of your favourite films. |

It's a rewrite with more efficient architecture.
It has a separate Add-on build with support for in-game TexMod and shader replacement .
It works with SteamVR.
Vulkan injection is on a per-game basis instead of global.
Saving screenshots isn't laggy as fuck anymore.
Overall it's a big improvement!
