Microsoft released the first-ever Patch Tuesday for Windows 11 last night with the new build version 22000.258 and apparently, the update makes the Level 3 (L3) cache latency for Ryzen CPUs even worse.

Windows 11 is a disgrace. A stripped down waste of time. I'm enjoying reading all the fanboys turning haters cuz they are only realizing things now.
To anyone who upgrades (not an upgrade).. just make sure to save your Windows.old folder or MS will delete it without telling you and you will have to go fresh install of Win10. |

I'm not sure if after you already let Win11 infest your machine it isn't better to just wipe it all and do a clean install of 10, rather than doing the rollback.
Kudos to MS and especially AMD for confirming how they suck and lag Intel behind when it comes to SW implementation. Impressive HW, but everything else is just shitty B+ tier ... |

I've helped people to roll back, not heard of any issues.. But ya clean install is always best. Gets rid of leftovers situation.
More new crap that gets dumped on Win11 the better. Means they will be forced to fix things faster. |
