3090 at 8K? Sure, I can see CS:GO kids spending thousands of fathers money to buy connection needed to get 3090, and several thousand more for an 32" 8K monitor to put it on their 1x1m school desk.

not much...

~$4K to be a pioneer of playing in <60fps average with 3090 (might as well be a Ferrari, since you can't get one).

yes, very precise TV, 4K TV, big, and OLED. It's 1000+ nits, real HDR and VERY color accurate...and you probably still can't see the pixels from a meter away (and you should be 3 meters away anyway...) AND with 3090, you would have twice the FPS than in 8K, at least.

TV's at around the $1k mark and above do have the best colour reproduction, motion and brightness. The only inconsistent issue is refresh rate - but now they're catching up and 120/140Hz is becoming standard. I do use a monitor, but it's only as a second screen convenience, mostly for work stuff or to browse Outlook etc.

I am not going to use that TV, or even buy it for that matter, but OLED TVs can be professionally calibrated to match and even surpass monitors, because, well, they are oled and they are 12bit with super wide gammut and superb color accuracy that only >$5K monitors can surpass, but without HDR and they would be up to 30" and up to 50,000 US $$$ (Sony). So, once again, if the space is not a problem, I'd rather buy OLED TV that is better in every aspect than 8K $4K monitor.
