| Snore. Gameplay remains the same.. Hell gameplay hasn't changed since CS was released how many years ago? LOL! Sure porting it to Source may have been hard.. but really, there's not much change to the game.. and a new player model? Whooppeee.. God I was really into CS:S when it came out but the game has not changed and it gets boring fast. |

| cs was realesed as mod 1999 if i remember right and 2002 as retail produkt i think. but the gameplay sadly has changed in perticular with the release of steam and 1.5. you have to come to the conclusion that all what made cs a fun mp was a bug and not intended by design, or they plain fired the orginally developers they bought out und fucked it up cause valve didnt understood the idea. |

| Well at least u know when it was released. But you don't know much else, cuz the game is identical nearly on Source except better gfx. And the original developers are still there. So in total, you don't know much. |

| who'd WANT to play CS anyhow.. there's an active aimbot/wallhack that VAC2 doesn't even pick up, cuz I know guys that still use it from the days when CS: S was in beta testing. I see no point. I guess since I played CS since the very first day it was released in beta back in HL1, years of playing pretty much destroyed my interest. To 'me' the game is a bore and it's always the same. Hoped that CS:S would be more than what I read, but in the end it truely is CS 1.6 on Source.. |

again instead of reading my comment properly and replying in an civilized maner u insult me to overplay your insecureness, and you make a mockery out of yourself. you statet:
Hell gameplay hasn't changed since CS was released how many years ago?
i statet: but the gameplay sadly has changed in perticular with the release of steam and 1.5
so my statement stays true since both were realesed a looong time before half life 2 and had a strong change in gameplay, either on purpose or by fixing bugs that resulted in the change doesent make a difference.
there is also another diffrence in cs-s, things and of course most importantly granades react different due to the havoc implementation but i agree gameplay in cs and cs-s is essential the same, i never stated anything diffrent. i also never stated that they were fired i only said that the change in game play got me to the conclusion that either this or that must have happend.
yeah of course there are cheaters out there in cs and valve cant or wont do too much about it, still i wouldnt care if they didnt had taken out any need for tactical thinking and the need for foreseeing the next step of your enemy. i would like to discuss the gameplay in deth in the forum if you like, but it would clearly go beyond the scope of the comments. |

I agree with tub0rg on a range of issues, especially you XXXX being too agressive without a reason
As for you expecting CS to change after coming as a Source reincarnation, you don't seem to grasp the idea of releasing CS:S. It's been made only to update graphics, because changing the gameplay (I mean radically) would mean releasing another game, a game that couldn't be called CS anymore. I'm not saying CS or CS:S are the ultimate gaming experience you could ever get. I'm saying CS:S was released for those who like CS, that's all. And if their audience doesn't seem to decrease, I guess the developers weren't so wrong. |

i strongly believe cs is still so much played because their is no alternative, if you only demand a nother round based mp you end up with a very short list of possabilities wich all fall short to cs one way or they other.
i also believe the extrem amount of flaming and aggresivness in the cs comunity is an sign of that.
i myself after quitting cs havent found an mp i like. |
