This video showcases the gameâ??s amazing volumetric clouds and weather effects. Seriously, these â??heavyâ? clouds and the amazing rain drop effects are a beauty to behold. The gameâ??s environments also look awesome (especially when you are really high in the sky).

Look at the lag near the end with the rain on the side window. The thing is fsim has always looked good at height, but crap on the deck, so why didn’t he land it when he was on finals in the vid? Cause it’s still crap no doubt

This thing will have a humongous map, mostly served from the cloud, so there is room there for serious quantities of detail, and this is still a closed alpha. I'm not a huge flight sim guy, but if this works out at all well and they do add proper VR helmet support, I'm in.

I think the 50Mbps will kill it for a lot of people, regardless of the crazy specs.

The trailer shows impressive visuals with Microsoft Azure artificial intelligence and satellite imagery. To get these ideal results, the simulator requires a more recent Ryzen 7 Pro 2700X or Intel i7-9800X CPUs paired with high-end AMD Radeon VII and Nvidia RTX 2080 GPUs with at least 8GB of VRAM, 32GB of RAM, a 150GB SSD and a 50Mbps connection.
