More chambers for less distortion - With one chamber for bass and a separate one for mids and highs, HyperX Cloud Alpha provides more distinction between sounds and minimizes distortion.

$150 headphones? I have surround headphones with amazing sound and bass. I paid $39.99 on Amazon. Best headphones I ever bought. I had HyperX at one time. They cost me $80 at the time. They fell off the desk and broke. I'll stick with China knockoffs. |

Sennheiser made the only headphone I could wear extended periods (>8hours) without any shape of fatique. HD 595.
Not a 3D headphone, but I could tell in Skyrim where there enemies were... |

Ya Sennheiser didn't last more than a year for me and cost me lots. Good sound though when they worked. |

Everything can break. If you are not careful. I guess Senn is not for everyone?! But these cans for 150$, it's a joke, to informed people.
It all goes into one chamber anyway (ear).
Senn and others seem to be doing just fine with one good driver. No distortion whatsoever. Though, I would probably go with something a bit cheaper if I had to replace my Senn. There are some good AKG deals. |

My point was, you don't have to pay the money they are asking.
Get some chinese knockoffs. Read 'peoples' reviews not BS review sites like Tom's Marketing Hardware site. My SADES 7.1's cost $29.99 and they out-lasted both my HyperX and Senn headphones. Maybe a little heavy but sound and mic are fantastic. These are similar to Logitech G430's
The same sensible logic goes for mechanical keyboards. Only a fool will pay $200. The same can be obtained for $50.
My mouse? $12.99, Zelotes.. stopped buying overpriced BS mice too. Honestly.. best mouse I ever owned. |
