Expensive, absolutely, but the raw power vs price is quite remarkable.

you can overclock every 1080Ti if cooling is decent... they all run the same chip, same VRAM...Only sheep pays for overclocked cards, unless they have much better cooling (if needed) compared to base model.

edit: Also, this is Vega against 1080, not 1080Ti. Ti destroys it.
