A normal GTX 1080 should be enough for all but the most die-hard gamers who demand 4k, though.
And I for one am never buying a card with a reference cooler design again. Those things tend to sound like a vacuum cleaner. The MSI Gaming X with their Twin Frozr is so superior, both in cooling efficency and noise. Or the Asus DirectCU, etc other aftermarket coolers. |

| I ain't buying any card > $350. My card is doing great and I don't give a shit about 4K or spending $500 on a screen. PC ain't worth it. |
