The first DOOM Closed Alpha begins Friday, October 23 at 12:01 ET and runs through Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 ET. Participants will square off in 6v6 Team Deathmatch on the Heatwave map. Using a limited arsenal of 6 weapons and 2 pieces of equipment, players can choose a pre-set loadout or customize their own loadout

Shame they don't really care much about capturing the same sort of level design (and by that I mean indoor & outdoor.. not just indoor corridor wallways) ,texturing and atmosphere from the original doom..
its just a generic shooter to me.. complete with all the same shit we see in modern shooters, sure its high detail.. and 'looks' good... zero interest in playing it though. |

Not just for this game ..I haven't upgraded my rig in 5 years |
PC doesn't impress me anymore Hx... I sincerely doubt I'll be putting money into it even for Fallout. Bash me all you want but it makes zero sense to me to put anything else into my PC unless Word or Photoshop or Eclipse starts chugging. PC is going down the shitter and if everything is going to be $$ for expansion this and addon that. F that. I can't even play anything MP anymore on PC because everything is littered with cheats. I put a SSD and a 960 in my PC. When the time comes and it starts chugging I'll likely be on my XBone full-time or buy a next gen console. |
