I ran into the reboot loop problem.
It turned out that the cause was a dummy nvidia useraccount that only existed in the registry. After I deleted that, the update installed fine. Thanks nVidia. |

Just like at work, my home PC has been perfectly fine since switching to Win10. I also didn't waste my time right away, after switching I updated my video drivers to a Win10 certified driver and forced updates on other drivers and software, like Firefox. Creative Labs as usual has no drivers but the system still seems to be using my older Win7 drivers.
EDIT: As a matter of fact, likely going to chuck my creative card anyway, useless hunk of shit anyway. Onboard audio is better supported and less overhead. |

Yeah, nowadays the onboard audio is decent.
I don't like the hiss they add though, so I got a mobo with a creative chip onboard. |
