The Windows 10 upgrade may be free, but it removes Windows Media Center from PCs with the add-on installed. Users with Windows Media Center enjoyed DVD playback without the need for third-party software before Microsoft killed it off. As a result, Windows 10 can't play DVDs out of the box, but Microsoft's $15 Windows D

I have never used that junk in Windows, so it does not matter.
They should keep removing junk; there's plenty to be dropped.

Having used Windows 10 for a few days now. I really like it. It's different but at the same time it's solid and doesn't lag. The UI takes a little getting used to but I like the change. Media player, I always use VLC so no MS media player is fine with me. It was a piece of bloated crap anyway. So far no issues, runs great as do my my apps which I thought I would run into compatibility issues. All run without issue. I'm glad I didn't have my thumb up my ass like other people and postpone upgrading.

What games did you try?
I am interesting in older (Win95 and XP) games like Starcraft and so on.

Why would I play a fucking ancient hunk of crap game? I played the old Doom's and Quake's all worked fine. I loaded up StarCraft 2 and it ran like shit. Apparently that fat ass company called Blizzard hasn't updated their game(s) for Win10 and I personally couldn't give a shit about anything Blizzard does. How many years they been around and all they got is games... Fuck them.

I meant the first Starcraft. Far better than the second.
We're on the same page with Blizzard all right.

Read bud. I said I gave up on SC ages ago. If I play any SC I play SC2 and even at that, rarely. I personally can't stand SC or Blizzard for that matter. Their games bore me quite quickly. SC "1" I stopped playing years ago. I prefer Empire Earth, C&C Generals. They work.

I've tried other old titles. It's a mixed bag of results, some work, some don't. The ones that really matter to me work. By not work, there is some strange pausing/lag that goes on especially in menu's. SC2 has this issue for example. That seems to be the most prevalent issue.

Likely the solution to mouse/lag stuttering in some games. Have to wait for Win10 update I guess.. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2908279. Or employ it yourself manually. I haven't tried it yet myself.
