I could always that tell when a CRT monitor's refresh late was low when it was below 85Hz. I could not tell above 85Hz even though 100Hz was more pleasing (easy) on my eyes, so there was still a way to tell. Above 120Hz it did not make any difference anymore.
So, I guess he's almost right with them numbers. |

The same here. 85Hz was enough.....less than 80Hz was terrible for eyes  |
