hell, I didn't give 'em money, I mean, after Aeris and stalker 2...then this star citizen hype and finally that zoo space game no man's sky...fuck that shit. Make a product and then market it and then sell it. Call me old fashioned but that's how I see it.
edit: Seriously, if you are an able coder all you need to make something (of your own) is a PC, food and water. You don't need a million $$$. Make the damn thing then sell it.
All this kickstarter shit is about them getting payed upfront to MAYBE make something. That guy that made that potato salad starter was more honest than any of these game dev scumbags.
edit 1: and the worst part? People think that they deserve nothing more than what they get which is far less than what they pledged for.
People throwing money at Star Citizen are perfectly happy with being shafted with a space dock where they can view a spacecraft. And while they are drolling at their virtual garadge, the CEO of the project hired a fucking model/pro escort lady to be his secretary and made 6x4K screen eyefinity and is laughing his ass off. |

IMHO, all these kickstarter backer are irresponsible kids living out their gambling desires.
BTW, was gambling ever legalized in NA? (Which this scheme really is.) |
