Oh, sure, Origin is great.
On sunday morning my wife and me decided on a whim to join the SW:TOR crowd.
No problem, I already had the client downloaded a while ago in case I decide to get the game, so we just need to buy the game online if we want to play today, right?
Of course, you can buy it online only with fucking Origin.
Every other online shop, I'd have keys for me and my wife in about ten minutes, but no, not with Origin. My Order went through without a problem, I had my key right away, but my wife's?
First sign of trouble was that we were given a message that we'd get a confirmation that the order went through when it does, instead of a key.
So we waited, and waited, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours. Nothing. So we call their support line and wait 20 minutes in line, just to be told that the order was "flagged for review", and they couldn't do anything, not even cancel it.
Yes, I love Origin, and it will be the online distribution service of choice for me from now on. *thumbs up* |
