I either have a choice of playing with 20 fps and old driver or with 60 fps and new driver and crazy texture patches everywhere...

when i finish it, estimating tomorrow doubt I will play it again so who cares. I can live with the gfx crap for a few more hours. Always solid fps for me. Are you using rageconfig file? might fix your problems. I just have some weird blur/sync problem, it's like tearing maybe. First time I seen that happen. Patch didn't fix it. No biggie.

It runs fine now on both my Nvidia and ATI cards.

My GTX 570 runs at 1080P+4XAA with 40% gpu usage, solid at 60fps.

My ATI 5850 runs at 1080P+4XAA with 66% gpu usage, solid at 60fps.

Both with 8192k textures.

I know that my GTX 460 will run it fine. Maybe even more so than the 5850. I am very curious to see how my old trusty 4850 will do with it though.

PS The 8192k texture options, puts almost 50% more memory load. From 550MB of the normal setting, memory usage jumped to 750MB with 8192k textures.

didn't fix shit for me until I reverted to 11.6 catalysts + 11.10 ogl dlls. Only way for me to get rid of constant stuck in stutter or whatever, I couldn't make two steps in 30 minutes literally, with or without the patch using rage catalyst driver

I did version2 beta drivers they gave patches, when I opened the inf I noted what the opengl dlls were and copied them from the beta ocl driver to the beta2 directory. Upon installing driver the texture patches were gone but it ran as slow as the old driver.

I'll sit on it for a week hopefully it will start working.

mine is 6770 1GB, but basically it's an series 5 gpu, you might as well think of it as 5770

I think this game deserves the SHITTIEST ENDING of all Time Award. Almost like a "Oh oh we ran out of money" better end it here. Game took me just over 10 hours to complete.
