As promised, Crytek has released the DX11 Ultra Upgrade and PC patch 1.9(download) for Crysis 2.

The following features will become available with the optional DX11 package installed:
- Tessellation + Displacement Mapping
- High Quality HDR Motion Blur
- Realistic Shadows with Variable Penumbra
- Sprite Based Bo

I'd say that Crytek has done a great job with this one.

I am not impressed by the DX11 features, but damn these textures and enhanced HDR made the game look substantially better.

If you say it looks good, I'll pick it up when I see if for $19 or $14 just like I did their past titles. I wonder is the PC mp community dead like lots of other supposedly great fps?

Yep, that's pretty much how I am with any straight up shooter now...wait for it to be <$20 (mainly because I don't do mp). At least this one will look great when I do get it though.

They send you the activation code and you activate it in EADM (now Origins). That's how I got it.

Crytek is such a great game but cjs-cdkeys is very expensive, I recommend to use https://gameskeys.net/ or any other comparison site for bargains..
