| "a formula that currently works for games such as" ... you forgot League of Legends, which currently holds the biggest market share as MOBA dota clone mainly because it is free to play, not that they don't make money off it. So yeah as someone who can't stand steam or supporting its monopoly direction they'd be hard pressed to get me to buy there dota clone, not that I wouldn't if it was good, really really good that is. |

| since i started playing LoL, i have zero interest in going back to dota/hon. They are simply two different worlds, and I just can't go back to waste time and nerves with denying creeps, bottling up the runes from rivers etc. I know it's part of the gameplay (that I played for a loong time) but LoL is just better for me. You focus on objectives, not on shops, monkeys, flying monkeys, runes and bottles, not to mention creeps. |
