I was pretty sure some asswipe on this site was saying no more consoles. Pretty sure it was on this site, only one I know with asswipes on it. Well this is some early warning news for ya! No doubt they will squeeze whatever they can out of the current consoles which right now are more than plenty. If they add keyb/mouse for gaming, though some games do take advantage of both on console then kiss goodbye to gaming on PC.

I believe PC gaming will always be #1. Grant you, consoles do and will hurt PC gaming, but it will never replace it.

PCs can do anything where consoles are mainly for gaming. For this reason, everyone has a PC but not everyone has a console. If anything, consoles will try to be more like PC because PC is the real competition.

Consoles are always behind the curve. Look how horrible the graphics are on any console. They may look okay on day 1 the console is released, but they age very quickly and new generation consoles are released very rarely.

The hardcore gamers and most of the best games will always be on the PC.

I was just watching Blacks Ops DLC and Rage trailers right now. Can't you fucking see what this shit old hardware is doing to games? They are all washed out, blurred and low res? How can a man that calls himself a gamer be happy with that?

In all honesty, I have absolutely no problem how retarded console games look and feel. I only care because some developers insist on not taking their heads out of their asses and keep porting games from these old machines to the PC, instead of the other way around!

Oh for the love of God they are called gaming consoles and they have nothing to do with gaming any more! Go get yourself a laginect to feel the true innovation...NOT!

It clearly takes 8-9 years to teach some of those programmers how to right decent code!
Every incarnation on the PS3 gets better, both graphicaly and in gameplay. Plus of course we have 3D -out the box.
I have no complaints, as long as it's an evolution -unlike some bollock excuse to upgrade your graphics card.
Fuck me, i'm sitting streaming/downloading HD movies from my LoveFilm account to my PS3 and watching 3D babes in swimsuits!! No virus scanners, no bull$hit slowing it down. That's ALL i want in gaming.

And PC gaming has been dying for decades now it is the broken record, or maybe it has a half life of its own that just keeps on going.. We've been hearing about an xblock 720 for over 3years already, economically I can see why delaying it pass 2013 is better...However games that get ported to PC have been held back by consoles in more ways than just visually. Console games have lowered the standards of games in general.

A decent firewall/browser that's it. You console gamers are gullible consumer test subjects if anyone. Still console gaming isn't going away, I don't really care about it and I don't dislike console gamers per say. I just care about putting down idiots who try to put down PC gaming, like that is the only reason people prefer to use a PC and still prefer to buy 'decent' games for it instead. I get far more out of a PC with decent hardware than I would a consoletard hardware/ locked mass market platform -that's all. That and I couldn't stand buying a device/ into a market solely controlled Microshite, Nosy, and Nintbendo bullshit manipulators.

I haven't contradicted anything I've said, I fully understand the economical and development reasons for making/selling a game on a platform that in some ways is easier for big studios develop for with more of a guaranteed market payoff. Still you have twisted things into an argument about which platform now has the bigger mass market of suckers who buy games. Most of which I wouldn't care for owning for the PC because of the target market they are designed and developed for, it just seems the opposite is true in the console platform land where the quality or lack of and limitations are seen as positives.

Where have I said that? You're such a fool though, because there is money to made in games on the PC.. last time I check Zynga was raking in more profit than EA (no fault of their own for pumping out and ruining games* cough* C&C) and just look at browser games, subscription titles wow, eve etc... just because PC gamers don't rush out to buy console aimed type of games as much as console gamers do (for obvious fucking reasons) that end up on the PC doesn't mean quality titles that do eventually get shit done right don't get great sales on the PC.
