Short Translation: FUCK YOU CUSTOMER, TIME TO BUY NEW GAMES FROM US
(the gameplay/mods/community maybe more crap, but we don't care)
---------
Dec 31, 2010 Online Service Shutdown
The Lord of the Ringsâ„¢, The Battle for Middle-earthâ„¢ II for PC
The Lord of the Ringsâ„¢, The Battle for Middle-earthâ„¢ II, The Rise of the Witch-kingâ„¢ for PC

What?!?! they've already shut those down? 4years online service? that is fucking pathetic. Ain't even a BFME3 out, and I'll be honest.. out of EA other shit RTS CNC efforts, BFME2 was pretty damn good and still seems to have the community.
.. I suppose there is always the other online gaming community method, still poor show from EA to kill what is one of their better RTS games.
Also I remember NFS Underground 2 online being killed in 2007, and look at the diabolical shitting NFS garbage that came out after.. what a fucking joke.
Must really suck to be a console game though, honestly it should just be mandatory for publishers to put online service date expiry on the box
(I mean your virtual non-refundable/non-sell able purchase)
...especially for games with NO LAN support. |
